Fiber-Ready Networking

The WESTCOM WS1000-P Series delivers full compatibility with fiber optic environments through SFP uplink ports and SFP transceivers, ensuring seamless integration with long-distance, high-speed backbone connections. This fiber-ready design provides the flexibility required for scalable deployments, enabling network architects to expand systems with ease while maintaining robust connectivity and consistent performance across wide and complex infrastructures.

Power over Ethernet

The WESTCOM  WS1000-P switches are equipped with 8, 16, and 24 10/100BASE‑T ports that fully support the IEEE 802.3at PoE+ standard. Each port is capable of delivering up to 30 W of power, with the series offering a maximum PoE budget of 370 W. To enhance operational efficiency, integrated PoE usage LEDs provide real-time visibility into current power consumption across the network. This feature enables administrators to effectively plan and manage the PoE budget, ensuring stable performance while preventing potential overloading issues.
